THIS IS A COMBINATION COURSE THAT INCLUDES LOUISIANA P&C ADJUSTING PRE-LICENSING AND BASIC XACTIMATE TRAINING FINANCIAL AID IS AVAILABLE TO THOSE WHO QUALIFY FOR THIS COMBO COURSE PART 1 (MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY This course provides the student with state-specific material that follows the Exam Content Outline issued by the Louisiana Department of Insurance. The course covers the terms, concepts, and regulations necessary to successfully pass the state exam. The material is easy to understand and is supported by practice exams that provide the student with instant feedback on their understanding of the material and reinforce what they have learned. PART 2 (THURSDAY AND FRIDAY) Property / XACTIMATE Adjuster Boot Camp In this course, you will learn! Students will be instructed in insurance terminology regarding property claims, the steps of the claims process, and the adjuster's role and responsibility. Students will also learn how to complete an initial contact with the Insured, time management & scheduling techniques. The instructor will instruct students on field and phone inspection steps, residential building methods and identification of residential building material components, measuring, and calculation with the adjuster’s supply toolkit, managing claims with Xactimate Adjusting Software, and claims settlement communication.
