1. Student Cancellation (Before Class Begins)

A student may cancel enrollment in writing (email or signed letter).

Refund Schedule:

• Within 24 hours of enrollment – 100% refund (if course has not started)

• 7 days or more before class start date – 90% refund (10% administrative fee applies)

• Less than 7 days before class start date – 75% refund

• After class has started – Refunds are prorated based on hours completed, minus a 20% administrative fee

Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days.

2. No-Show Policy

Students who fail to attend the first scheduled class session without written notice will be considered a No-Show.

• No-Shows are eligible for a 50% credit toward a future class if requested within 5 business days.

• No refunds will be issued for No-Shows without prior written cancellation.

3. Transfer Policy

Students may transfer to a future class one time without penalty if requested at least 48 hours prior to the class start date.

Additional transfers may incur a $50 administrative fee.

4. Academy-Initiated Cancellation

Adjusters Unlimited Academy, LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to:

• Low enrollment

• Instructor illness

• Emergency circumstances

• Weather-related closures

• Facility issues

If the Academy cancels a class:

• Students may choose a full refund OR

• Transfer to the next available class at no additional charge

The Academy is not responsible for travel expenses, lodging, or other incidental costs.

5. Virtual / Online Course Cancellation

For live virtual classes:

• Students must notify the Academy at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time to receive a transfer credit.

• Access credentials are non-transferable.

• Recorded materials, if provided, are non-refundable once accessed.

6. Regulatory Compliance Notice (Louisiana)

For Louisiana Pre-Licensing Courses:

• Students must complete required instructional hours in accordance with Louisiana Department of Insurance education standards.

• Refunds are issued in compliance with applicable Louisiana educational guidelines.

• Completion of any portion of a pre-licensing course does not guarantee issuance of an insurance license.

• Students are responsible for scheduling and passing the state licensing examination.

7. Military or Emergency Exception

Students called to active duty or experiencing verified medical emergencies may qualify for:

• Full tuition credit valid for 12 months

• Extended transfer eligibility

Documentation may be required.

8. Acknowledgment

By enrolling in any course with Adjusters Unlimited Academy, LLC, the student agrees to this Cancellation Policy.
